Banking firm office

Banking on a sound fit out
Turnea built a brand new office on Level 4 and 5 of 30 Old Broad Street for a banking firm with exceptional acoustics. Previous acoustics problems led them to appoint an acoustician and a management company to oversee this aspect.
Cat A and Cat B fit out
Our team stripped out Cat A mechanical and electrical (M&E) base services which were 25 years old and existing Cat B fixtures and fittings which were unsuitable for the banking firms’ technical requirements.
We then installed new ceilings, partitions including glass, flooring, multiple electricity points and acoustics as well as a higher specification M&E system for air conditioning and cooling. Our team broke through an existing slab to open up space for a new staircase to connect the two level office.
Challenging design changes
When we were part way through the project, the banking firm commissioned a concept designer, who made additional changes to the fit out works. We had to carefully manage the timeline to meet the original deadline, which was already challenging due to the long lead time for the specified materials.
