From unloved to appealing office spaces
To improve employee wellbeing and staff welfare for an air product manufacturing company in Grimsby appointed Turnea to turn their drab office space into high-quality office facilities. Their employees had been reluctant to visit the old offices due to the poor level of facilities, so our client wanted to address this by improving the space to encourage staff and clients to come together more and work better.
Solving logistics and safety challenges
The project presented us with two major challenges. The first was mobilising our team to Grimsby, which we managed effectively by implementing a shift-and-a-half daily schedule. The second involved working within a high-risk site that required strict adherence to safety protocols, including comprehensive health and safety gas risk inductions and permit-based work management.
A garage becomes a DDA compliant office
We turned a redundant garage into additional office space while also refurbishing the existing facilities. Working within a tight budget, we stripped the office to its shell and installed new DDA compliant toilets, walls, ceilings, floors, and acoustic treatments. A steel-framed workshop was constructed to house large equipment, including cranes.
