From speculative fit out to tenanted office
2.5 years ago, Turnea delivered Cat A/Cat B office fit out for a speculative office by the landlord at Level 40, 25 Old Broad Street, London. Halfway through this speculative project, the office was leased to a new tenant, a pension firm, who took over the design. Their main changes were to introduce finishes more reflective of their brand.
Cat B fit out
We laid the floors, adjusted the 25-year-old mechanical and electrical (M&E) base level building services, installed new lighting electrics, and acoustics. As part of the office fit out we assembled bespoke furniture including desking and breakout booth areas.
A fit out first
This project was Turnea’s first office fit out and refurbishment project at the iconic Tower 42, 25 Old Broad Street in the City of London. It taught us a lot about the building fabric and the state of the existing building systems, including M&E. We also developed a process to manage access issues for offloading and logistics on this tight City of London site.
